Hi! I’m Glend Lumbao, a freelance illustrator and muralist from Manila, Philippines.


After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Visual Communication, from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2017, I immediately began taking on illustration gigs. These small projects turned into regular work, allowing me to make a living as a freelancer. I then decided to fully commit to a freelancing career.

Distinguished by overlapping shapes and dynamic composition, my work presents a modern look that aims to evoke memories of carefree play. 

Forever fascinated by the vast expanse of the world and all that is in it, I am greatly inspired by nature and outdoor recreation. These are the subjects of my illustrations, which can be seen in my projects with local and international brands involving advertising and branding, interiors and architecture, and literature and film.
